They choose green beans based on blind cupping, only purchasing lots scoring above 87.5 points. All roasts must meet tight weight loss and colour targets and pass through an optical sorter to remove immature beans. They taste every roast batch blindly to ensure high standards. Prodigal pays one of the highest average green prices in the world, respecting their suppliers’ work.
