Based in Berkeley, California, Hydrangea began as a passion project on a 1kg Mill City roaster to offer coffee that highlights fruit and floral qualities over dark, chocolate-heavy notes. Today, they roast on Loring machines and focus on clarity, sweetness, and vibrant acidity while building direct relationships with South American producers. Their menu spans everything from classic washed Ethiopians and rare Panama Geshas to experimental thermal-shock lots. To make coffee less intimidating, every bag features custom artwork that visually translates the flavor profile before you even read the tasting notes.
