We're Canada's largest specialty coffee equipment distributor - founded by coffee people, built for coffee people. We show up at competitions, obsess over the details, and take our work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.
Why Eight Ounce
Started in Calgary in 2011 by two people who couldn't find the coffee gear they wanted in Canada. More than fifteen years later, we're a strong team spread across Calgary, Toronto, and Montreal - and we're still excited about the same things we were at the beginning.

Customers are everything
Without our customers, we would not be here. Nearly all of our wholesale customers found us by word-of-mouth - the coffee industry is a very tightly knit group. Our customers are also our colleagues, and the friends we run into at barista events and trade shows. It’s hard to beat the feeling of surpassing a customer’s expectations.

Eight Ounce was founded on the principle of providing proven, quality, ethically made coffee equipment. Every item we sell must be “barista approved” and is something we ourselves would be happy to purchase and use.
