    Designed to integrate seamlessly with the Ratio Six architecture, the heat shield fits cleanly into the flat brew basket and works in harmony with the thermal carafe to maintain optimal brewing temperature from the first drip to the last. Whether you're replacing a misplaced shield (it happens!) or refreshing a well‑loved setup, this part keeps your brewer performing at its best.

  • Place the heat shield directly on top of the brew basket. The flexible silicone skirt should be oriented upward. Slide the assembled carafe and basket underneath the machine's showerhead. As you push it in, the silicone gasket of the heat shield will automatically wrap around and surround the showerhead to trap steam and maintain temperature.
