    Built to keep your coffee HOT all morning, the 1250ml (42.3oz) Moccamaster Replacement Thermal Carafe is designed to be used with the KBT, KBGT, CDGT, and CDT models of the Moccamaster brewer but can also be used as a stand-alone thermal vessel.

    This insulated carafe has a borosilicate glass lining and comes with a travel lid and a brew-thru lid constructed of BPA, BPS, BPF, & phthalate-free plastics.

    • Includes Moccamaster Replacement Thermal Carafe and Two Lids
    • Materials: Stainless Steel, Borosilicate Glass, BPA-, BPS-, BPF-, and Phthalate-Free Plastics
    • Capacity: 1250ml (42.3oz)
    • Compatible with Moccamaster KBT, KBGT, CDGT, and CDT model brewers

Easy to clean Carafe

Our old Moccamaster thermal carafe served us for 8 years. It was all stainless steel and often showed stains. This newer carafe is a bit wider than our old one but still fits our KTB Technivorm coffeee machine. It has a glass lining which is very easy to clean. Not dishwasher safe.

Excellent Portal Thermos with Flavour Protection Liner

Excellent quality as expected of a Technivorm product. I selected this larger thermos mainly for its feature of the strong glass liner to prevent the metallic taste of steel into the coffee. Not even Fellow makes a thermos like this yet, even though they also make many portable stainless steel coffee cups with a flavour protection inner layer. I am glad that I purchased this. But I do wish that the handle was collapsible so that the thermos would be a bit more even portable.

My Sunday mornings usually start with a 500 ml lattes or 2 or 3 while reading a book on the deck. Stainless steel thermos have failed to keep my lattes hot. A glass lined carafe like we used in the “olden days” worked best. I noted Eight Ounce Coffee had the Moccaaster Carafe. This carafe functions perfectly to my situation and allows me to sip hot lattes uninterrupted with my book.
